Jumpstart Foundry Investor Day Expands by Streaming the Event Live

JSF Investor Day’s nine presenting startups will share an impressive platform and audience while sharing their visions and business models with angel and venture capital investors across the country. JSF companies have spent months refining and preparing for this day. Nashville’s largest full production television studio, NorthStar Studios, is hosting Investor Day for Jumpstart Foundry, a mentor-driven, seed-stage microfund and business accelerator, on August 22nd at the Nashville broadcast facility. NorthStar Studios is dedicating four of their studios to host over 500 potential investors to which nine entrepreneurs will present investment opportunities for their startup companies. NorthStar Studios will also be live streaming the event with their new high definition streaming service called VenueStage which integrates social media platforms with the streaming content, developing a totally interactive experience for the audience and presenters. Those outside the Nashville market, who cannot attend the investor day event in person, can watch the event live from multiple platforms.

NASHVILLE, TN – June 12, 2013 - NorthStar Studios has added Lance Osborne as a Business Development Manager where he will help launch and promote VenueStage, NorthStarStudios proprietary event broadcast platform.
For over a decade, Osborne has worked in entertainment and media, producing hundreds of concerts, conferences, and other events nationwide. Most recently, he led event broadcasts for author and radio personality Dave Ramsey.
“Lance brings both a breadth and depth of experience in the events world to our team,” said NorthStar President, Grant Barbre. “His success is rooted in helping clients onstage effectively connect with their audience, even when that audience is watching live online. Lance’s unique talents are a great complement to our seasoned team.”
In this role, Osborne will focus on VenueStage, NorthStar Studio’s new online broadcast product. From a single source, VenueStage provides artists, businesses, and organizations with pre- and post-production services, professional studio facilities, live HD streaming, and backend commerce options for their event, all integrated with social media and other interactive channels.
Lance earned his degree in Telecommunications from the University of Kentucky, where he also served as Director of Concerts for the campus. After moving to Nashville, he worked for Ramsey’s The Lampo Group, Inc., coordinating major arena events across the country. He was then promoted to Director of Simulcast, where he created and managed streaming event initiatives for the company. Lance resides in Nashville with his wife and their three children. VenueStage is a fully interactive delivery system used for streaming large scale events to domestic and international audiences.
